The performance of Mühlböck’s technology has, for example, convinced green energy supplier Cycleenergy to equip its latest pellet plant in Aschach an der Donau with another Mühlböck belt dryer. Cycleenergy currently operates four biomass plants and four pellet plants in Austria and Germany. A Mühlböck belt dryer has been in operation at the Gresten plant which was built back in 2017.

Cycleenergy presented the brand new pellets plant in Aschach to the public in mid-September. Once again, the sustainable overall concept of the site was emphasised: a showcase example for the implementation of the energy transition. Cycleenergy also pays attention to sustainability and climate protection in its business activities. All suppliers are located within 70 kilometres of the site. Pellets are delivered almost exclusively to the central region of Upper Austria, where the demand for cheap and sustainable biomass energy is constantly increasing.
