Progressive kiln Type 1003 No. 5 for HIT Torgau

In 2012 four progressive kilns type 1003 were installed at Holzindustrie Torgau OHG, another progressive kiln has been put into operation now in the German sawmill.

The 5th progessive kiln also holds 16,000 pallets per batch.

Compared to conventional drying systems (dependent on the application), energy savings of up to 50% can be achieved with the Mühlböck system 1003. Due to the low value of the thermal connection and energy requirement, an increase in the drying capacity is possible, without any further investment in a heat generator, even in the case of energy bottlenecks.
