BELT DRYER

PREMIUM

For maximum thermal energy savings

A closed system consisting of pre-drying, final drying and heat recovery.
In conventional belt dryers, all the incoming air is heated, routed over the material to be dried and discharged again only partially saturated. The energy introduced is thus partly blown out without ever being used as exhaust air – the efficiency often leaves much to be desired due to the systems’ design.

Premium Belt Dryer

EFFICIENT DRYING WITH HIGH DEGREE OF EFFICIENCY AND PROVEN TECHNNOLOGY

This exhaust air previously left unused is almost fully utilised by our MÜHLBÖCK 1003 PREMIUM System. The exhaust steam produced by the final drying zone is routed into an air to air heat exchanger and made available to the pre drying zone via a heat recovery system. The latter receives the required thermal energy from the heat recovery system and uses up no or little additional heating system energy, halving heating energy costs.

Energy efficient

Up to 50% savings in heat consumption

The 1003 PREMIUM drying system reduces the consumption of thermal energy by half thanks to the combination of heat recovery and an innovative supply and exhaust air system OR increases the output power by a factor of two for a given heat output.

01
Emission reduction

Reduced air and dust emissions

The air routing in a closed system in one part of the dryer ensures reduced exhaust air volumes with simultaneous devaporisation. Extremely low dust emissions close to the detection limit ensure smooth system operation.

Premium Belt Dryer
Cost effective

Maximally economical drying

The constant use of thermal energy is the largest cost factor when it comes to wood drying systems. It exceeds the investment costs and costs for electrical energy many times over. Reducing this area by half results in high savings in drying costs, as well as lower investments for the heat generator and the heat pipe network.

03
Additional equipment

Wide range of additional equipment
